Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual for the position of PCW/RCW (Personal Care Worker/Residential Care Worker) to provide essential support and care to our residents. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of individuals in a residential care facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities. The position will be 4 X 12 hours shifts, with four days off in between.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance to residents, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor residents for any changes in health status.
• Engage in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in resident conditions to admin staff.
• Foster a positive relationship with residents, families, and team members while respecting privacy and dignity.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in assisted living, senior care, or nursing home settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and their families.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
• Basic knowledge of caregiving practices including cleaning protocols.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid or relevant caregiving certifications is advantageous but not required at the time of application. Join our team to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
