Reporting to the Gas Bar Manager, responsibilities for this position include the following:

  1. To come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude.

  2. To be dependable for all scheduled shifts.

  3. To order, receive, price, and display merchandise as assigned by the Gas Bar Manager.

  4. To have a good working understanding of all point-of-sale operations (StorePoint system) including back-office functions.

  5. To ensure that a neat, clean, and orderly location is maintained at all times.

  6. To assist in the marketing requirements of the location.

  7. Under the direction of the manager, to supervise and train team members.

  8. To be responsible for the adherence and enforcement of all Saskatoon Co-op policies and procedures

  9. To ensure that outstanding courteous customer service is provided at all times.

  10. To provide pump island assistance as required.

  11. To perform the necessary daily reconciliations and reports.

  12. To perform opening and closing procedures. 

  13. To be responsible for administrative duties as assigned by the Gas Bar Manager.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three to five years supervisory experience in a retail location or equivalent

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent education

  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated time management, planning and organizational skills

  • Be customer service orientated

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

  • Must be able to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
