What you will do

As a Forest Technician you will be involved in a variety of projects throughout the region. On any given day you could be involved in:

  • Forest management
  • Timber reconnaissance
  • Cutblock engineering
  • Silviculture surveys
  • Riparian classification and management
  • Timber cruising
  • Cultural heritage feature identification
  • Ecological assessments
  • Forest road engineering
  • Waste and residue

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of previous forestry experience.
  • Physically fit and a passion for working outdoors.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
