Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Refrigeration Technician located in Fort St. John, BC. The Refrigeration Technician will be responsible for conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and performing maintenance and repair work on refrigeration and gas compressor systems. The role also involves working with electrical systems and HVAC equipment to ensure the efficient and safe operation of all assigned equipment.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Preventive Maintenance, Maintenance & Repair of refrigeration and gas compressor systems
  • Strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
  • Knowledge of Electricity and electrical systems
  • Understanding of HVAC systems and their components
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Certification as a Refrigeration Technician (or equivalent qualification) is strongly preferred
  • Experience in the natural gas or industrial equipment industry is an asset
