Senior Interior Designer - Corporate Workplace

We are seeking a Senior Interior Designer with deep expertise in
Corporate Workplace environments
to lead front-end design strategy, creative direction, and project execution from concept through completion.

This role suits a seasoned designer who combines exceptional design vision with strong team leadership and client management capability.

Role Overview

  • Lead design strategy, visioning, and creative direction across corporate workplace projects.
  • Translate client requirements into high-quality, innovative design concepts.
  • Manage and mentor Intermediate and Junior Designers.
  • Own project delivery from concept through permit drawings and construction coordination.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resourcing.
  • Lead client relationships, presentations, and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate sub-consultants and manage full permit drawing sets.
  • Participate in studio leadership, hiring, and culture initiatives.
  • Represent the firm at industry and client events.

Required Profile

  • 10+ years experience in Interior Design (design firm environment).
  • Proven leadership on corporate workplace projects (renovation + new construction).
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-end design execution.
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams and consultants.
  • Advanced client management and presentation capability.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian codes (OBC, AODA).

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Architecture (M.Arch/ID preferred).
  • NCIDQ certified and ARIDO registered.
  • LEED certification preferred.
  • Technical Skills.
  • AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp.
  • Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Microsoft Office.

Additional Qualifications

  • Strong mentoring and knowledge-sharing capability.
  • Contract administration experience.
  • Advanced understanding of furniture and sub-consultant RFP processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Authorized to work in Canada.
