The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a
Full-Time Multi Grade Teacher at Red Earth Creek School.
For the school year this position would be for a grade 5 and 6 split class. This position is to commence on January 29, 2026 and will be a continuing position.

is situated in the , located about 162 kms from Peace River. This school services students in grade K-12 and supports a commitment to academics and various extra-curricular programs. Red Earth Creek school borders Loon River First Nation. Red Earth Creek is a rural community with local restaurants, an arena, a community gym and regular community programming for all ages.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in teaching in a multi grade environment from grades 1-12
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
  • Excellent communication skills with students, staff and parents
  • Ability to contribute to a positive, safe and caring learning environment
  • An understanding of rural community and culture

Requirements

  • Must hold or be eligible for a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
  • Provide an acceptable current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check (record check must be dated less than six (6) months to date of your application.)

Annual Salary Range:
$ 66,520 to $ 112,451
(dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective
agreement between the Alberta Teachers' Association and the Peace River School Division)
