JOURNEYMAN PLUMBER

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Caledon is currently looking for a full-time Journeyman Plumber.

The Journeyman Plumber is responsible for performing minor to complex service work on plumbing systems as well as install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial environments. 

In addition to plumbing the Journeyman Plumber will also perform drain cleaning services on plumbing systems in residential and commercial environments. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs scheduled and unscheduled service and repairs on residential and light commercial plumbing systems.

Works in various installations, repair, maintenance and service capacities individually, and as part of a team.

Diagnosis of malfunctioning equipment to determine cause and appropriate corrective action.

Installs, services, or replaces components including, but not limited to, fixtures, faucets, electric water heaters, water softeners, pumps, and valves.

Performs physically demanding tasks related to installation and repair of plumbing systems.

Performs preventative maintenance tasks per established protocols and Ontario Building Code.

Completes required documentation (i.e. electronic time sheets, invoices, quotations, plumbing check-ups, etc.) for services performed.

Performs cleaning and maintenance of equipment, tools, materials, and vehicles utilized; ensures adherence to principles and practices of safe equipment use and operation.

Willingly performs other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licensed Journeyman or 5th Year Apprentice Required

Must pass a Driver's Abstract and Criminal Background Check as well as possess a valid Driver's License

Must be available to work evenings, weekends and/or shift work.

Must be willing to conduct sales while on service calls.

Compensación: $30-$40 per hour
