As part of the Administration Services team, the accounts administrator handles overdue accounts and processes firm suspensions, terminations, and reinstatements for Chambers Plan clients as part of our industry-leading customer service.
As the successful candidate, you will handle overdue accounts and related reporting. You will process the various status changes to client accounts such as suspensions and terminations due to non-payment as well as chargebacks, terminations, and reinstatements. In addition, you will communicate daily with advisors, either by phone or email, regarding account status, working toward quick resolution and payment of required premiums. Timely follow-ups and regular communication with clients, advisors and our accounting area are also required to achieve positive client experience. You will also provide back up support for our Advisor phone line as required.
- Hybrid working model based out of our Winnipeg, MB office, with three days in-office per week.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to effectively convey information
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to remain professional at all times
- Strong organizational, time management and multitasking skills
- Ability to effectively manage competing priorities
- High attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality
- Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
- Intermediate MS Excel skills
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable experience is an asset
- Previous experience with group benefit plan administration is an asset
- Bilingualism (written and spoken English/French) would be considered an asset
