Position Summary:
We are seeking a Customer Service & Dispatch Coordinator to join our Orangeville office. This hybrid role combines customer service excellence with dispatch and logistics coordination. The ideal candidate will be organized, tech-savvy, and experienced in managing delivery operations while maintaining strong communication with customers and drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary contact for customers inquiries
- Support dispatch of orders for fuel, propane, and lubricate deliveries.
- Invoice, batch, file, reconciliation daily transactions
- Apply bank payments and reconcile customer accounts as needed.
- Coordinate and schedule daily delivery routes for trucks using dispatch and GPS software.
- Monitor customer tank levels via remote systems to plan proactive deliveries.
- Update delivery statuses and respond to real-time changes (e.g., weather, traffic).
- Communicate clearly with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, route changes, and customer interactions.
- Ensure compliance with transportation and safety regulations.
- Support weekend dispatch operations and logistics coordination.
Required Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in dispatching, customer service, or logistics.
- Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dispatch/GPS software (training provided).
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education in logistics or business is an asset.
