The Role
As a Program Manager in SpryPoint's Portfolio 1 practice, you will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of multi-project programs that modernize utility operations and enhance customer experiences. Your expertise in program oversight, stakeholder alignment, and enterprise-level execution will ensure successful delivery across complex CIS and utility modernization initiatives.
Portfolio 1 Role: The ideal candidate brings proven CIS Utilities implementation experience and a comprehensive understanding of the meter-to-cash lifecycle - from meter data management through billing, payments, and revenue assurance. This role will oversee cross-functional delivery, coordinate with third-party vendors, and drive successful solution integration across the utility ecosystem. Strong leadership, communication, and program governance skills are essential for guiding projects to successful completion.

Travel: 30-50% travel across North America required. Must be able to travel between the US and Canada without restrictions. Your impact:
- Lead program planning, coordination, and execution across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and on-time delivery
- Establish overall strategy for program execution, including resourcing, communications, and governance
- Proactively identify risks, interdependencies, and issues across projects, and work with teams to mitigate them effectively
- Own financial oversight of the program, including budgets, forecasts, and reporting
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels—internal teams, clients, and executives—ensuring alignment with program goals
- Ensure adherence to internal processes and policies to promote consistency, accountability, and best practices across projects
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, solutions architects, and implementation specialists, to achieve program objectives
- Monitor program health, progress, and performance metrics, providing regular updates to executive leadership.
- 5+ years managing large-scale, multi-project programs from the vendor or system integrator side
- Multi-million-dollar program leadership with enterprise utility clients
- Cross-functional team management across technical, business, and regulatory workstreams
- Executive stakeholder management and presentation experience
- Experience leading programs with 12-24 month project lifecycles
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- PMP or equivalent program/project management certification
- Enterprise program management experience with multi-project oversight
- Utility industry expertise, including regulatory compliance and multi-commodity experience
- Cross-border projects – must be able to travel between the US and Canada without restrictions
- Enterprise CIS platforms – experience with complex implementation environments
- Collaboration and productivity tools – Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and others
- Program and project management tools – experience with web-based Portfolio/Project Product Management platforms
- Both traditional and agile program/project management methodologies
