Plastic Bags Manufacturing Company located in Delta BC (Tilbury), in the process of hiring for the position of Press Helper / Operator - Flexo Printing on Poly Film.

Position Overview

Previous experience in Printing Poly Films - using Stacked and/or CI presses is a plus, but if you do not have the experience - we are willing to train you if you have the right attitude and work ethics

Press Helper / Operator is expected to maintain standard production objectives in assisting Press Operators maintain proper machine operation and general area cleanliness.

Other responsibilities include performing quality assurance checks using appropriate measuring devices and basic math skills. You must adhere to all safety requirements as well as maintain a clean and organized workplace.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye coordination, Standing for extended periods.

Job Requirements:

· #1 Requirement: Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure instructions.

· Ability to perform repetitive lifting (up to 50-60 lbs frequently).

· Working knowledge of safe lifting methods (Forklift certification is an asset)

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (help others, keep yourself busy)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
