Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Winch Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service, ensuring that freight is delivered on time and in excellent condition.

Duties

  • Operate winch tractors and/or texas bed truck in the oil and gas, construction, agriculture and forestry industries
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safe operation.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and fuel consumption.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Perform basic repair and maintenance on the truck as needed to ensure optimal performance.

Skills

  • Proficient in winch tractor operation with a valid Class 1 driver's license
  • valid safety tickets including first aid, H2S, CSO required
  • Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance on vehicles.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.

Requirements

  • minimum 3 years commercial driving experience
  • MUST have previous winch experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
