Calgary, Alberta, Canada Atripco Delivery Service Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

We are looking for reliable and experienced Owner Operators with 3- and 5-ton trucks equipped with power tailgates to join our team on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service, while ensuring goods are transported efficiently and on time. Commission based pay based on load.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license (appropriate class for vehicle) and clean drivers abstract.
  • Own a well-maintained 3- or 5-ton truck equipped with a power tailgate.
  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of freight handling procedures and transportation safety regulations.
  • Ability to safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate your truck to transport freight safely and efficiently to designated locations.
  • Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with all regulations.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring all freight is properly handled, secured, and protected during transit.
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records.
  • Communicate clearly and promptly with dispatch, clients, and team members regarding schedules, updates, and any issues that may arise.
  • Provide professional, customer-focused service, including white glove delivery where required.
  • Comply with all local, provincial, and federal transportation regulations.
  • Delivering products in a timely manner and in proper condition to customers
  • Ability to work and drive in all weather conditions.
