Rebuild Project Manager for Environmental Remediation Company

We are seeking an experienced Rebuild Project Manager to join our fast-growing restoration and reconstruction team. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong background in residential and commercial construction, excels at coordinating rebuild projects, and is highly proficient in Xactimate for creating accurate and detailed estimates.
The ideal candidate is a confident communicator who can assess damage, develop rebuild scopes, and work closely with homeowners, insurance adjusters, subcontractors, and internal teams. Because this role includes client-facing responsibilities, we are looking for someone who can not only present estimates professionally but also achieve a high sales conversion rate through strong relationship-building and trust.

Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesProject & Site Management
- Oversee all rebuild projects from initial assessment to final walk-through.
- Conduct site inspections to evaluate structural, cosmetic, and mechanical damages that require reconstruction.
- Develop detailed scopes of work and prepare accurate estimates using Xactimate.
- Create material lists, coordinate orders, and manage delivery schedules.
- Organize and schedule trades, subcontractors, and internal crews to ensure timely project execution.
Client Communication & Sales
- Meet with homeowners and clients to discuss the rebuild plan, scope, and timelines.
- Clearly present estimates and recommendations while maintaining transparency and professionalism.
- Sell rebuild services effectively and achieve a consistently high customer conversion rate.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the entire rebuild process to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction.
Project Execution & Quality Control
- Monitor job progress, ensure adherence to scope, and adjust plans as necessary.
- Conduct regular site visits to confirm quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards.
- Troubleshoot project issues promptly, providing solutions that align with budget, timeline, and client needs.
- Ensure all documentation—including photos, reports, and change orders—is accurate and complete.
Coordination & Compliance
- Work collaboratively with insurance adjusters, emergency technicians, estimators, and field staff.
- Verify that all work complies with local building codes, company standards, and industry best practices.
- Maintain organized project files, schedules, and communication logs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction management, rebuilding, restoration, or related fields.
- Mandatory proficiency in Xactimate for estimating rebuild and repair work.
- Strong understanding of residential and commercial construction processes.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple active projects with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to sell services and maintain a high lead-to-job conversion rate.
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and bondable.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly wage of $30–$35 to start (vacation pay included on each cheque).
