About the Role
Sound-rite has an opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales & Marketing Administrator to support our sales team across various marketing, lead generation, and administrative functions. This role will cover a variety of duties and once trained, you will have the knowledge to assist in supporting all sales-related activities. Prior experience in either sales, marketing or office administration would be considered an asset
Environment
Based in our Calgary head office, this role will offer both in office, along with some scheduled work from home hours. This role will support team members who are based in Alberta and British Columbia. Full-time & modified part-time options are available.
Essential Job Functions:
· Supporting Marketing initiatives such as:
- Update, oversee & support website
- Assist territory account managers sourcing leads & outreach
- Ordering of marketing material, letter head, envelopes, business cards, and office supplies
- Coordinate with SEO partners & Social media posts
· Assist with the management of in-house or corporate client accounts
· Track and updated client libraries with latest product information & samples
· Send out appropriate sales material for account managers direct to clients
· Main courier functions; shipping & receiving of parcels, tracking & coordinating with clients
· Provided back up support to Account Managers including opportunity tracking & client outreach
· Coordinate trade show requirements.
· Maintain trade association memberships & tender submission platforms for all territories
· Oversee budgeting for marketing initiatives, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
· Assist sales team with lead generating software
· Support sales team with reporting and product related training
· Assist with processing customer orders
Additional Responsibilities:
· Participate in sales meetings and conference calls as required
· Stay informed on all product lines & manufacturer sales related programs
· Communicate ideas on how to further enhance the marketing and sales initiatives to the General Manager and sales team
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, office, word, and PowerPoint.
· Excellent reading, writing and arithmetic skills required. Post-secondary education in a relevant field considered a strong asset
· Proficiency in digital marketing strategies, including SEO, email marketing, and social media advertising
· The individual must portray a positive attitude and maintain a professional demeanor
· Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
· Ability to work in a team environment with minimum supervision
· The ability to assume responsibility and to be self-motivated
· Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for changes
· Class 5 driver's license and clean drivers abstract
