We are currently looking for a Long-Haul Dispatcher to join our company.

Job Duties:

  • Co-ordinate, assign and review the duties including shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and maintaining inventories.
  • Experience in conducting quotations and coordinating the routines for shipments associated to all modes of transport (Courier, Ground Services).
  • Coordinating production work, dispatching crew, scheduling transportation routes and other related activities.
  • Ensure smooth operation of equipment and arrange for maintenance and repair work
  • Ensuring all truck operators are aware of job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
  • Calculate and provide information about the shipment statistics such as weight, destination, quantity, type and charge.
  • Ensures documentation is accurately processed, distributed and released to carriers, forwarders, customers and agents in timely manners.
  • Track and trace shipments, researching and resolving any issues regarding billing or shipping companies, clearing agents, warehouses and all other parties involved in the shipment.
  • Handling customer complaints or any major incidents, such as a damage issue.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Min. 1 year experience in transportation and logistics
  • Dispatch experience an asset
  • Knowledge of Montreal area an asset
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent multitasking skills

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
