About Glow Wellness Pharmacy
Glow Wellness Pharmacy Walk‑In Clinic is a new, community‑focused pharmacy integrating primary care access with preventative health, longevity medicine, and evidence‑based wellness. We will operate adjacent to an aesthetics clinic, offering a professional, calm, and patient‑centric environment with modern systems and streamlined workflows.
Role Summary
The Pharmacist is the medication expert and clinical lead on site. You will deliver high‑quality dispensing, patient counseling, and clinical services; implement and maintain rigorous quality and compliance standards; and collaborate with the clinic team to build an exceptional patient experience from day one.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense, check, and counsel on prescriptions with accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide clinical services within Alberta scope, including but not limited to:
- Comprehensive medication reviews and care plans
- Injections and immunizations
- Prescribing for minor ailments and renewals (APA required)
- Smoking cessation, travel health, and chronic disease management
- Triage and manage walk‑in requests, coordinating with prescribers as needed.
- Utilize Alberta Netcare for real‑time information, documentation, and reconciliation.
- Maintain cold chain, narcotic and controlled drug compliance, and inventory accuracy.
- Support front‑of‑house OTC selection, evidence‑based product curation, and patient education.
- Mentor pharmacy assistants/technicians and foster a collaborative culture.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience and responsibilities.
- Additional pay for select clinical services where applicable.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Pay: $50.00-$70.00 per hour
