Job description:
We are looking for a personal support worker for our 24-year-old son who has non verbal Autism. Most days are filled with volunteering, community connection and activities but he can get in a mood and then I get a bit grouchy. He doesn't always sleep well , it gets in the way of his favorite things like car rides, and music. He is interesting, funny and like to keep busy. He loves listening to music, especially techno music, making and eating food and exploring his city. He really like to get outdoors, go to the YMCA and hang out with my friends. You will need to drive as he has not convinced the government to give him a license yet. I live in Lethbridge. The shifts are regular and will include a combination of days evenings and nights with rare weekends You need to be as stubborn as me (I don't always like to try new things but once I do it's fine), but laid back and easy going is a must. If you enjoy keeping busy, are creative and have a sense of humor this job might be for you
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.75-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
