 PRODUCTION OPERATOR (ROLL FORM)

CGC Inc. is currently recruiting for a Production Operator (Roll Form) for our ceilings plant, based in Oakville, Ontario.

It's a permanent and full-time position, offering a challenging opportunity for a motivated individual to demonstrate their skills and abilities in a manufacturing operation within a large corporation.

Under the guidance of the Roll Form Supervisor, the Production Operator conducts the daily operations of the Roll Form Department.

Additional responsibilities of the Production Operator include:

•Production Tasks: Perform packaging, operate and setup roll forming mills, presses packaging robots, palletizers and maintain housekeeping duties while ensuring high-quality production.

•Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety rules, model programs, and procedures, promoting safety among crew members and maintaining a clean work environment.

•Equipment Operation: Efficiently operate equipment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the production of high-quality products.

•Special Projects: Assist in implementing model programs, safety rules, and standard operating procedures, and carry out special projects as directed by management.

•Team Collaboration: Work cooperatively in a team environment, maintain consistent attendance, and develop good working relationships within and across departments.

Qualifications:

•A track record of positive safety behaviors, attendance, attitude and work performance with a passion for learning new skills.

•High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

•Previous experience in a manufacturing environment can be an advantage.

•Proficient mechanical understanding and the ability to follow technical instructions.

•Experience setting up and effectively operating a highly automated roll forming and metal punching line

•Demonstrate problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, ensuring safety and quality in all aspects while effectively communicating with team members.

•Ability to work flexible hours and shifts and adapt to changing business conditions.

Hourly wage: $29.22

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
