Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Associate Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with the design and development of innovative products that meet our clients' needs. This position requires a blend of creativity, technical skills, and strong communication abilities to effectively collaborate with team members and clients alike.

Duties

  • Assist in the conceptualization and creation of design projects from initial ideas to final execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with project goals and client specifications.
  • Design innovative kitchen layouts using Mozaik software, ensuring optimal functionality and aesthetics.
  • Conduct product demos to showcase design features and functionalities to clients.
  • Maintain organized documentation of design processes, revisions, and client feedback for future reference.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored design solutions.

YOUR ROLE

Working as a Millwork Engineer involves producing millwork shop drawings using Mozaik. Drawings would include floor plans, elevations, and sections, and details of various millwork items.

The applicant would also be trained to use Mozaik software to produce CNC code and paperwork packages for shop production.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

· Positive energetic person to join our fast-paced team of millwork drafts people & CNC programmers for a long-term full-time position

· Ability to work independently, have good communication and organization skills

· Knowledge of cabinet construction and attention to detail is required.

· Experience with Mozaik software along with CNC Programming or Operating Experience is an asset.

· A good work ethic, dependable and on time to work daily

· Is a Team Player, Works well with others

· An interest in long term employment.

WAGE INFO

Wage based on Experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

  • 10 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
