Full job description

As an OAT route LPN, you will be responsible for securely delivering and witnessing OAT and other medications to patients.

Timings – 9:30am – 12:30pm

Expected schedule – Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursdays

Responsibilities:

· Visit patients daily at their residence, deliver medications, and ensure medications are taken as directed

· Witness patients take medications in accordance with program policy and procedures

· Document the witnessed ingestion

· Report any concerns or questions to the pharmacist or pharmacy manager

QUALIFICATIONS

Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills

A proactive thinker who can support the pharmacy manager and the team

Willingness to both receive and provide coaching and feedback

Ability to prioritize tasks and problem solve

Ability to adapt to changing work environment and learn the unique requirements of the designated pharmacy location

Ability to support the OAT delivery and witnessing

Prior experience supporting OAT programs is preferred

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  1. Registered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) designation preferred

  2. Previous experience delivering and/or witnessing medication preferred

  3. Valid BC driver's license

Schedule:

  • Day shift: Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursdays

License/Certification:

  • LPN/RPN (required)
  • CPR Certification (preferred)
  • Class 5 or Class 7 Driver's License (required)

Work Location: On the road

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 4 per week
