Parenting Time Supervisor

Supervisor to observe and report on custody and parenting time visits with a non-custodial parent and child(ren) where there are concerns in regards to safety or the parents' abilities.

Description:

· Staff member to observe and report on parenting time between parent and child(ren) where there are concerns in regards to safety or parent ability.

· Flexible/part-time contracts – mostly evenings and weekends. Shifts range from 3 hours minimum up to 8 hours.

· Parenting time takes place in-home and/or in the community.

· Staff member to act as neutral third party and take timelined, observational notes of the parenting time.

Looking for Parenting Time Supervisors in the Blue Mountain, Meaford/Owen Sound and Saugeen Shores areas

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Relevant University or College Degree/Diploma from a recognized institution (CYW/CYC, BSW or BA preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with children and families.
  • Valid Driver's license an asset.
  • Vulnerable Person Police Check.
  • Proven report writing skills a must.
  • Work with families in high-conflict custody and access situations is an asset.
  • Able to communicate in a second language is an asset
