Job Description

We're looking for a reliable and energetic Food Service Worker to join our cafeteria team in a unionized setting. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, take pride in serving others, and have a passion for food safety and customer service, we'd love to hear from you

This role is governed by the terms of the collective agreement and offers fair wages, job security, and a supportive work environment.

Wage is $19.08 per hour

Monday to Thursday - 7am- 3:30pm, Friday - 6 am to 1:30pm

Weekends , stats off

Job Responsibilities
    • Prepare and serve coffee, beverages, and baked goods according to brand standards
  • Operate espresso machines, ovens, and point-of-sale systems
  • Maintain cleanliness and restock supplies in the service area
  • Deliver friendly and efficient customer service in a fast-paced setting
    • Assist with food preparation and meal service for breakfast and lunch
  • Maintain sanitation of kitchen, serving stations, and dining areas
  • Handle inventory, deliveries, and food storage following safety protocols
  • Support catering or special events as needed
Qualifications
  • Demonstrates an understanding of basic sanitation procedures
  • Must be able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals
  • Must be available to work flexible hours
  • Food Handlers course

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Must pass a government clearance to work
