Job DescriptionAECOM Buildings + Places (B+P) Canada s seeking a motivated and skilled BIM Specialist to support the design and construction of buildings within the Buildings + Places business line. This position is based out of our Markham, ON office with opportunities for hybrid work permitted.
AECOM B+P is a vibrant and growing fully integrated team spanning architecture, all the building's engineering disciplines, landscape architecture, urban planning, urban design, economics and asset management for design and infrastructure projects.
Major Responsibilities:
- Provides training and technical support to design staff on the Building Information Modeling system, which provides 3D models using project specifications and content.
- Provide direct project support and production for assigned projects, creating drawings as required to meet job requirements using established standards and content. (Revit, Civil3D, Navisworks, etc.).
- Administer Common Data Environments, such as Autodesk Construction Cloud.
Minimum Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, candidates must possess, at a very minimum:
- A University Degree plus 4 (four) years of experience in Building Information Modeling.
Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, for example a Diploma/Certificate (Canada) plus 6 (six) years of experience with Building Information Modeling, may be considered.
