Job Overview

We're looking for an energetic and experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) to help lead our front-of-house team and support the daily operations of the restaurant. The AGM works closely with the General Manager to ensure an outstanding guest experience, efficient service, and strong team culture.

Responsibilities

  • Support the General Manager in all aspects of daily restaurant operations
  • Lead and inspire the front-of-house team to deliver excellent guest service
  • Assist with recruiting, training, and scheduling team members
  • Monitor performance, coach staff, and ensure team engagement
  • Manage inventory, cost controls, and assist with ordering
  • Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently
  • Ensure health and safety compliance at all times
  • Step into the GM role when required

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of restaurant or hospitality leadership experience
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
  • Serve It Right (or provincial equivalent) certification
