About us

In full expansion, Collège Milestone is looking for qualified instructors to deliver the DEP, Computer Support program during the week-end and at night in the week.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials according to the academic requirements of the Collège Milestone
  • Prepare, administer and grade exams and assignments to assess student progress
  • Encourage active participation from the students, in classrooms and online
  • Manage students' different levels of ability and learning
  • Maintain order and discipline during the course while promoting safety and respect for the rules and directives of the Collège Milestone
  • Actively participate in staff, group or other meetings related to the academic program, organization and administration of the College
  • Apply and respect the policies of the Collège Milestone
  • Ensure the health and safety of students under its responsibility
  • Provide guidance and advice to students on educational and social issues and on their continuing education and careers
  • Accurately report students grades and attendance in COBA
  • Any other tasks delegated by the supervisor

Requirements

  • Hold a DEC, a college or university degree in the discipline of computer science or the equivalent
  • Have at least 2 years of experience in the field
  • Master the Microsoft Suite including WORD and EXCEL
  • Master the computer tools of the program
  • Knowledge of COBA software is an asset
  • Bilingualism in French and English is an asset
