Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Mining Engineer, located in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The Senior Mining Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing mine planning strategies, conducting analytical evaluations, overseeing mining engineering projects, and ensuring the efficient extraction of resources such as coal. The role will involve collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to optimize operational performance while adhering to safety and environmental standards.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Mine Planning and related strategic initiatives
- Proficient in Mining Engineering with a solid understanding of extraction techniques and operational management
- Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate and optimize mining operations
- Experience in rare earth material and Gold Mining processes
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mining Engineering or a related field
- Exceptional problem-solving and project management skills
- Knowledge of industry safety practices and environmental standards
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Professional certifications in mining engineering are an advantage
