Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent teamwork skills, and a commitment to food safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable experience in the food industry.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Handle food safely and maintain proper sanitation practices at all times
  • Serve food efficiently and courteously to customers or dining areas
  • Support meal assembly, plating, and presentation to ensure appealing dishes
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas
  • Follow all food safety regulations and company policies diligently
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
  • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure continuous workflow

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food handling procedures
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if required
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to kitchen operations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
