Overview

Triple Random is now under new ownership and we are actively seeking a reliable and experienced Heavy Haul Truck Driver to join our logistics team in Fort McKay, AB. This role involves transporting freight efficiently and safely across designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, familiarity with heavy equipment operation, and a commitment to safety standards. Responsibilities

  • Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight to various destinations according to schedule
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
  • Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery status and any issues
  • Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle functionality
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during operations

Requirements

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with clean driving record
  • At least 5 years of heavy haul experience (no exceptions)
  • Skilled with jeep and booster combinations
  • Knowledge of automotive repair basics is advantageous
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures diligently
  • Physical ability to lift, move, or handle freight and equipment as required
  • Pass drug and alcohol test
