This role offers an exciting opportunity for a senior motion graphic designer to contribute to high-impact corporate video productions. The position is ideal for a creative professional with a strong portfolio in motion design, seeking a long-term collaboration on a hybrid basis in Toronto. The initial assignment will serve as a foundation for a potential ongoing partnership, with the expectation of delivering visually compelling motion graphics that enhance the storytelling and professionalism of corporate video content. Local candidates are preferred due to the requirement for on-site work as part of the hybrid arrangement.

Responsibilities

  • Design and animate high-quality motion graphics for corporate video projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand guidelines
  • Collaborate closely with producers, editors, and other creative team members to conceptualize and execute engaging visual solutions
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high standard of quality
  • Participate in on-site sessions in Toronto as required, contributing to team meetings and project reviews
  • Adapt creative approaches based on feedback and evolving project needs
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices in motion design

Skills And Requirements

  • Extensive experience in motion graphic design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in corporate video
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop; familiarity with Cinema 4D or similar 3D tools is a plus
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling, typography, and animation principles
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proven ability to manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced production setting
  • Availability for a hybrid work arrangement in Toronto; only local candidates will be considered
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering exceptional results
