The Role:

This role is a replacement role reporting to the Leasing Manager, the primary role of the Leasing Specialist is to provide exceptional customer service and ongoing support throughout the entire rental process in conjunction with a dynamic residential team. We place a high value on ethics and the customer experience, and they are seeking a candidate whose values are aligned. You will need to be an expert at completing leases and related documentation and a master of follow up to finalize each deal.

In this role you will:

  • Complete leases and related documentation and a master of follow up to finalize each deal.

  • Develop creative marketing techniques, including social media strategies, community events, lead generation and traditional marketing strategies).

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, prospects, service providers and other real estate professionals.

  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

What you bring:

  • Post secondary education in Real Estate, a related field or a combination of education and pertinent experience.

  • Proven experience in leasing within the residential real estate sector.

  • Good understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act of Ontario and market dynamics.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.

  • A strong knowledge of Ottawa's demographics, neighbourhood amenities and nearby residential real estate markets will be key to success.

  • Strong grasp of industry specifications (including floor plans, amenities and incentives) and market pricing.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Consistently produces accurate, high-quality work.

Salary: $42, ,000 plus commissions
