Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items with skill, consistency, and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality standards are met at all times.
  • Assist in menu planning by preparing ingredients and supporting the development of new dishes that align with our culinary vision.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and freshness.
  • Support food service operations by efficiently executing meal preparation, plating, and presentation for dine-in or catering events.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate cooking times and ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy environment while maintaining a positive attitude and professionalism.
  • Contribute to a team-oriented atmosphere by assisting colleagues as needed and maintaining open communication.
  • Ensure compliance with all health regulations related to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training related to dietary department procedures, food industry best practices, and culinary techniques.

Skills

  • Proven experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable.
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly within restaurant or fine dining settings.
  • Excellent knife skills coupled with knowledge of various cooking techniques.
  • Familiarity with menu planning, catering services, and food handling regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with food safety standards and sanitation practices across the food industry.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail in food presentation.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and serving staff.
  • Prior restaurant experience or culinary training that demonstrates proficiency in kitchen operations is preferred.
