As a member of the Ground Guys team, in this vital position you help the areas citizens and visitors enjoy the area parks by ensuring parks in the Greater Vernon area kept neat, clean and garbage free, exemplifying our code of values.

You show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.  

You are self-motivated, thrive in fast moving environments, and are able to manage time to effectively.

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Full Class 5 Driver License
  • Early morning starts - 5:00 am
  • Four or five day work week - 8 or 10 hour days - one weekend day each week
  • Follow daily schedule servicing 70 sites per week; 
  • Change garbage can liners; Scout parks, beaches & boulevards for loose litter and pick clean;
  •  Several trips to the landfill each day;
  • Busy but rewarding job; 
Job Requirements:
  • One year experience in this or a related field is preferred but we will train willing candidates 
  • Class 5 driver's License with clean abstract is a must
  • Willingness to work occasional (paid) overtime
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level and perform all other physical requirements associated with a position of this nature
