Our large, Manufacturing based client is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to lead the integration of multiple technologies into their technical environment. This position is a 1 year contract - hybrid, on-site 2days/week - downtown Toronto.

We are looking for an Architect with a deep Azure based technical background from a large industrial setting.

Responsibilities would include:

  • Design and develop comprehensive architecture solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and modern technology practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement in architecture methodologies and advocate for best practices
  • Guide teams in adopting modern development frameworks and technologies, including Angular, React, .NET, SQL, and advanced data platforms.
  • Leverage Microsoft Azure to architect scalable, reliable cloud solutions.
  • Design and implement SCADA and Pi solutions to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Provide leadership in adopting architecture and design patterns such as microservices and MVC.
  • Enhance user interfaces using the React framework to create dynamic, responsive web applications.
  • Architect robust data platforms to support analytics and data-driven decision-making.
  • Oversee SAP solution implementation and integration with existing systems.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in solution design and architecture, with a proven track record as a Solution Architect or similar role.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, integration platforms, API management, DevOps, SCADA systems, and Pi solutions.
  • Proficient in architecture and design patterns, including microservices and MVC.
  • Experienced in transitioning from monolithic to service-based architectures and containerizing applications.
  • Industry certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, SAP Certification, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or similar are highly desirable.
