We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Senior Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the food industry, demonstrating a passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to food safety and quality. As a Senior Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that each dish meets our high standards and is delivered promptly to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to the restaurant's recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food handling and preparation practices comply with food safety regulations.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff, promoting best practices in food service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
- Uphold the highest standards of food presentation, ensuring every plate is visually appealing.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar food service environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Proficiency in various cooking techniques and methods of meal preparation.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Attention to detail, with a passion for delivering high-quality dishes consistently.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
