Main Challenges

  • Lead research and development (R&D) work
  • Develop customer relationships and conclude contracts
  • Supervise CEPs and promote their professional development
  • Act as a major projects manager and ensure that design teams meet deadlines.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external professionals at various project stages.
  • Conduct preparatory studies for construction, such as feasibility or hydraulic studies, and write reports.
  • Write and/or approve reports necessary for permit applications required for project execution.
  • Analyze, design, and model civil engineering projects.
  • Perform engineering calculations for the analysis and strength of materials using Revit, Safi, Robot, and Mathcad Prime.
  • Develop detailed project drawings.
  • Plan the execution schedules and work estimates.
  • Prepare contractual documents and evaluate bids.
  • Ensure follow-up, quality control, and support during construction.
  • Monitor construction work, especially when issues arise.

Additional Challenges

  • Determine opportunities for improving work processes, develop and implement technical solutions, and optimized work methods.
  • Troubleshoot problems with the team.
  • Train new company resources when they start their position.
  • Participate in the preparation of service offers.
  • Participate in the business development and management of the company.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 to 15 years of experience
  • Graduate studies, an asset
  • Ability to work in French and English
  • Great sense of responsibility and high accountability
  • Love to be involved in all stages of a project
  • Dynamism, curiosity and desire to push the limits
