Responsibilities
:
- Expertise in integrated IC system design for wireless communication chips, particularly using GaN, GaAs, BULK CMOS, SOI CMOS, and/or SiGe BiCMOS processes.
- Proficiency in IC simulations using Cadence, ADS, and HFSS design environments.
- Strong knowledge of design schematics, simulation processes, and RF & analog layout methodologies.
- Solid foundation in advanced RF circuit techniques and architectures, including but not limited to LNA, Mixer, Phase Shifter, PA, Driver, VGA, coupler, combiner, and passive filters, especially for wireless communication design.
- Proven track record of exceptional performance in RF circuit engineering.
- Engage in IC testing and evaluation, and collaborate with customers to meet performance requirements.
- Work professionally and cooperatively with design teams.
Qualifications
:
- Coursework in Electrical Engineering and Electromagnetics; a Ph.D. is preferred.
- Over 5 years of industrial experience in RFIC design is preferred.
- Prior experience with RF/RF IC test equipment.
- Expertise or skills in large-scale phased array transceiver architecture or beamforming techniques are a plus.
- Familiarity with EM simulation software, such as Ansoft HFSS, Sonnet, WIPL-D, or CST.
- Strong knowledge of circuits and systems, including:
- Microelectronics and analog circuit design (e.g., H-SPICE, Laker ADP).
- Mixed-mode circuit design (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, Verilog).
- Digital VLSI systems (e.g., Verilog HDL, ADS).
