We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Stylist to join our new salon team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping childrens look and feel their best, with strong skills in hair styling and customer service. Duties

  • Good communication with kids
  • Provide a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling
  • Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles or products
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools
  • Assist with retail sales by recommending hair care products and upselling when appropriate
  • Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments
  • Foster a positive client experience through friendly communication and personalized service
  • Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and salon products to enhance service quality

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a professional salon environment
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
  • Knowledge of sanitation protocols and safety standards within the salon industry
  • Ability to upsell retail products naturally during client consultations
  • Excellent communication skills to ensure clear understanding of client needs and preferences
  • Ability to manage front desk duties efficiently while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
  • A valid cosmetology license or certification as required by local regulations
