Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our construction and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with various tools and systems. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Candidates should be comfortable working with blueprints, schematics, and various construction techniques to ensure high-quality workmanship and safety standards.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with blueprints and schematics
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute projects
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction tools to complete tasks efficiently
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required for installation or repair projects
• Conduct routine inspections to identify issues with plumbing systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements
• Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving carpentry, HVAC systems, or assembly work
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes
• Assist in the setup of construction sites and prepare materials for installation or repairs

Qualifications

• Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, or maintenance
• Mechanical knowledge combined with skills in carpentry, HVAC, welding, and blueprint reading
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, schematics, and heavy machinery safely and effectively
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to project specifications
• Experience with construction sites or industrial environments preferred
• Valid driver's license for commercial driving duties is a plus
• Ability to lift heavy loads regularly and work in physically demanding conditions
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: $34.97-$49.97 per hour
