Job summary
Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the incumbent ensures that customer specifications, quality criteria and internal quality procedures are met at all stages of construction activities.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out the required inspections and controls, in accordance with the quality plan and associated forms and instructions;
- Complete and approve control forms relating to the checks carried out;
- Provide direct support to the Project Manager in the execution of his tasks;
- Participate in the verification of materials received, in collaboration with the foremen of each discipline;
- Update work progress tracking files;
- Ensure compliance with procedures and processes defined in the site quality plan;
- Maintain an active presence on the site where assigned;
- Perform any other task related to his/her responsibilities.
Requirements:
- A college diploma in civil engineering;
- Valid driving license;
Experience
- 3 years
Skills required:
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings;
- Planning and organizational skills;
- Oral and written communication skills; English and French
- Good time management skills;
- Be autonomous, methodical, meticulous and proactive;
- Excellent adaptability and ability to work as part of a team.
