Position Overview:

Based in our Oshawa Head Office and working closely with the CFO and senior leadership team, the Corporate Accountant is responsible for completing the full suite of accounting functions for our management company, real estate companies and holding companies.

What You'll Do:

  • Recording accounts payable and processing payments
  • Invoicing and accounts receivable management (across the group of companies)
  • HST, Payroll filing and remittances
  • Bank reconciliations and credit card management
  • Preparing monthly financial statements and bank reporting
  • Assistance with year end file preparation
  • Office management
  • Additional duties as required.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principals is required, a CPA designation is an asset.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
