Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to assist with casual, on-call duties in cemeteries (Salmon Arm & Armstrong). The ideal candidate will be physically capable, reliable, and eager to contribute to a dynamic work environment.

Duties

  • Assist with loading and unloading materials in various conditions
  • Perform general site cleanup and maintenance
  • Help with site preparation, including digging, lifting, and moving supplies
  • Follow safety protocols directions of the manager
  • Operate basic machinery or tools as required (training provided)

Requirements

  • Ability to perform physical labour for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
  • Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures and guidelines
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Reliable transportation to job sites
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions

This position offers an opportunity to expand into further employment within our company. Hours are considered casual and limited during winter months with a part-time position available during spring/summer/fall months.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 15 per week

Work Location: In person
