YYC Communications is where storytelling meets strategy. We're the team behind Calgary Airports' brand presence - whether it's a digital campaign, a terminal experience, or a message that connects with our community. We shape how the world sees us and how our people feel about being part of the journey. From media relations to internal engagement, we support Calgary Airports' voice across all channels. What Are Some Of The Responsibilities
- Capture and create digital assets such as photos and videos that bring our brand to life.
- Manage the YYC Communications inbox and help shape our internal and external storytelling through website and intranet updates.
- Help plan and execute corporate events that leave a lasting impression.
- Brainstorm and build our social media presence—your ideas could be the next big thing.
- Support our brand transition project and see how creative strategy becomes reality.
- Write and post content that informs, inspires, and connects our community.
- Keep our digital asset library organized and assist with logistics like meetings, notes, and Oracle requisitions.
- Monitor social media, engage with followers, and help us stay ahead of the conversation with weekly media and social reports.
What Do You Need To Bring
- You'll need to be eligible to obtain and maintain a RAIC, don't worry – we'll help you through this For more details, check out: RAIC Program and Application Information
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, New Media, or similar discipline. Please note: To qualify as a co-op or internship student, you must be enrolled in a post-secondary program where a work term is a formal requirement of the program and be able to provide documentation to that effect.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with sharp attention to detail.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships, and respond to stakeholders with professionalism and care.
- Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a drive to deliver results.
What Additional Skills Are An Asset
- Experience with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and knowledge of video editing.
- Experience with managing social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter)
