About the Global Internship Program
Our Global Internship Program offers an immersive, inclusive, and fun learning experience for early-in-career talent at select participating Store Support Centre (SSC) locations. Throughout the 12-week program, interns gain exposure to real business initiatives, contribute to meaningful projects, and build lasting connections through networking opportunities, company events, and mentorship from leaders across the organization. The 2026 program opportunities will be product-focused, with interns supporting the teams driving product innovation and international growth.
- Program Dates: June 1 to August 21, 2026 (dates subject to change)
- Compensation & Benefits: Full-time, paid internship with access to group fitness classes, employee discount, and paid time off (prorated), including observed holidays.
- Development Opportunities: Q&A sessions with executive leaders, alumni networking events, and career development sessions.
- 3-Tier Support: Each intern is paired with a manager, mentor, and buddy for day-to-day support and dedicated career guidance.
- Career Pathways: Interns participating in the 2026 program will have early access to full-time job opportunities. However, conversion to full-time employment after the program is not guaranteed.

Join the Planning & Allocations team and play a pivotal role in shaping how we deliver the right product, at the right time, to every guest, in every region. This team drives sales and inventory strategies by store, defines clusters for segmentation and localization, and manages inventory flow across channels to support our design vision and financial goals. Our ability to optimize product availability by size and location has made lululemon the most productive retailer in the industry, creating transformational experiences for our guests and fueling our continued growth.
Core responsibilities
As a Planning Intern, you'll learn and assist in the development, execution, and communication of merchandise financial plans that align with the business' brand, marketing, and financial objectives. Your contributions will influence merchandise flow strategies that maximize sales and enhance guest experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyze Data that Drives Business Decisions: Leverage systems and tools to assess historical and current trends, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend strategies to optimize inventory and drive category performance.
- Support Optimized Inventory Flow: Learn how inventory parameters are established and adjusted to impact replenishment and allocation. Provide support to Merchandising to actively manage product assortment and seasonal merchandise flow strategies that maximize sales and guest experience.
- Participate in Merchandise Review Meetings: Prepare materials and generate insights based on business results.
- Conduct Strategic and Market Analysis: Execute detailed category performance analysis and participate in market study projects to uncover growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Completed or currently pursuing BA or BS in Business, Retail Management, Merchandising, Finance (or equivalent)
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and generate insights that support inventory planning, sales forecasting, and strategic decision-making
- Effective communication skills (written & verbal)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated and adaptable; comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving problems proactively
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks to meet deadlines
- Open to feedback and committed to continuous learning and growth

Compensation and Benefits Package
lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $55,300-$60,300 CAD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
