Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and oversee various technology projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and SAFe, as well as experience with cloud computing and enterprise software solutions. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with business objectives.

Duties

  • Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to project management methodologies such as PMBOK and SDLC.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the execution of IT projects, utilizing tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, and TFS for tracking progress and managing tasks.
  • Conduct requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
  • Develop detailed project plans that outline tasks, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
  • Implement effective risk management strategies to identify potential issues and develop mitigation plans.
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that deliverables meet business needs and quality standards.
  • Oversee release management processes to ensure smooth transitions from development to production environments.
  • Utilize analysis skills to assess project performance and implement improvements where necessary.
  • Foster strong communication among team members and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all project-related information using tools like Visio and SharePoint.

Experience

  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager or similar role in a technology-driven environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS.
  • Familiarity with databases such as SQL and Oracle is preferred.
  • Experience with software development practices including test-driven development and agile methodologies (Kanban).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong negotiation skills for managing stakeholder expectations and resource allocation.
