Job Summary

Our client is an Engineering company that specializes in the design and manufacture of complex engineering systems in the fields of process engineering, mechanical engineering, and instrumentation and controls for nuclear and tritium handling industries. We are urgently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Planner/Scheduler to create and maintain project schedules for our projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating and maintaining project schedules for projects involving engineering design, component procurement, and construction of skid-mounted process piping systems, and projects involving design and build of electronic instrumentation modules.
  • Estimating and assessing company manpower needs.
  • Working closely with technical staff and project managers to track progress and resolve scheduling issues.
  • Summarize critical path and project status and report to Company management.

Requirements include:

  • Relevant post-secondary degree or diploma and/or Project Management Training
  • Proficient in written English and comprehension.
  • At least 5 years experience in project management and planning in technical projects.
  • Expertise in structuring, organizing and managing multiple complex projects
  • Very familiar with Microsoft Project.
  • Able to produce project data reports related to status, metrics, and key indicators, in tabular and graphical formats from MS Project and other applications.
  • Able to track and expedite critical path.
  • Able to work under tight deadlines and establish relationships with diverse project staff.
