Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. Duties

  • Perform thorough cleaning of commercial and industrial spaces, including offices, restrooms, and common areas
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and custodial equipment to complete cleaning tasks effectively
  • Conduct facilities maintenance as needed, addressing minor repairs or reporting larger issues to management
  • Use appropriate cleaning agents and techniques to ensure high standards of hygiene and safety
  • Manage time efficiently to complete daily cleaning schedules within designated timeframes
  • Heavy lifting of supplies or equipment may be required during cleaning operations
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding completed tasks or any issues encountered

Experience

  • Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
  • Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and basic facilities maintenance is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and staff
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the workday
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and sustain physical activity during shifts
  • Good communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting maintenance needs
