We're seeking an experienced
Senior Applications Architect
to support large-scale government initiatives focused on modern, secure, and scalable digital services. This is a
full-time onsite contract
based in downtown Toronto.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead application and business architecture design across complex initiatives
  • Develop core architecture deliverables (SAD, BAD, IAD)
  • Apply Target State Architecture principles and established standards
  • Review RFBs and present to the Architecture Review Board (ARB)
  • Support security, privacy, and penetration testing activities
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to align solutions with business needs
  • Design reusable IT services and guide long-term technology roadmaps

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience as an Applications/Business Architect
  • Strong experience in both business and application architecture
  • Hands-on knowledge of public cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), including
    Azure
    and
    Dynamics 365
  • Experience with security reviews, TRA, PIA, and enterprise architecture governance
  • Proven ability to work in large, complex, multi-platform environments

Nice to Have:

  • Prior public sector or OPS experience
