Your Team:

Within the Technology, Infrastructure division, IT Service Management and Operations own, govern and oversee core ITSM/O process and controls across ASX. The team are committed to delivering a number of strategic initiatives over the course of the year as well as continue to support BAU responsibilities. You will be part of BAU team and responsible for ensuring ITSM/O processes
are continuing to operate aligned to policies and standards.

Your responsibilities:

  • Manage the Capacity and Availability Management process. You will ensure the process is being carried out and will oversee the day-to-day operation of the process including oversight of the capturing the related NFR's, through to the operational tracking and management.

  • Work with Service Owners to produce annual capacity and availability plans for ASX critical business services.

  • Provide consultative support and coaching to service owners embedded within ASX's Lines of Business (LOB's) and delivery

  • teams to uplift and drive successful adoption of IT processes, procedures and methodologies for Capacity and Availability.

  • Act as a lead knowledge custodian for information sharing on Capacity and Availability Management processes for delivery and operational teams, senior stakeholders, and business areas.

  • Prepare Capacity and Availability analytics on a monthly basis as part of regulatory reporting. This must be accurate, timely and requires excellent Excel and ServiceNow skills.

  • Contribute to organisational level ITSM maturity uplift including communities of practice, knowledge management, and training curriculums

  • Contribute to the definition of measures intended to drive operational excellence

  • Contribute to a culture of collaboration, accountability and service excellence across the organisation

Must have experience:

  • Experience in developing and maintaining capacity plans to enable ASX to continue to provide services of the quality defined in SLAs and that covers a sufficient timeframe to meet future service level requirements.

  • Strong communications and collaboration skills, and the ability to view and explain capacity and availability from a stakeholder and customer perspective.

  • Experience in report creation for senior stakeholders.

  • Strong understanding of financial markets and related products.

  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM). ITIL or COBIT certifications.

  • Experience with using the ServiceNow platform.

  • Exposure to non-functional testing planning and results assessment, particularly performance and load testing.

  • Strong understanding of IT related risk, including 3 lines of defence.

Nice to have:

  • Results orientated – understands what levers to pull to drive outcomes in a highly regulated and changing environment.

  • Experience with support of mission critical, high transaction volume environments.

  • Understanding of governance and management of Enterprise IT.

  • Technical background: Operations / Infrastructure / Application Support or Application Development.

  • Demonstrated capability of critical review to ensure set standards are meet and continuous improvement opportunities are identified and service acceptance requirements are met.
