We are a fast-paced contract manufacturing facility specializing in health & beauty products. We are seeking reliable, organized, detail-oriented, self-starters who can support and undertake a variety of Quality Assurance and Research & Development functions.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare samples for internal and external lab analysis
  • Perform chemical analysis of samples and release manufactured batches in a timely manner
  • Maintain detailed documentation of manufacturing and quality-related logs
  • Prepare manufacturing records including Certificates of Analysis
  • Release raw materials and components for use in manufacturing and production
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment by calibrating, cleaning, washing, and sanitizing in accordance with standard procedures
  • Collect manufactured bulk and finished product retain samples
  • Complete data entry tasks as required
  • Perform routine in-process quality checks during finished product production
  • Monitor and ensure line clearance and start-up before/after production
  • Assist with preparation of lab samples for client evaluation and approval
  • Assist in administrative tasks and other projects as needed
  • Perform job functions in compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment-

Knowledge & Competencies Required:

  • Post-secondary education is required (Bachelors, certificate, or diploma)
  • Background in Chemistry is strongly preferred
  • Must have an understanding of laboratory procedures and equipment
  • Must be able to work independently and follow directions
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to maintain priorities to meet competing deadlines
  • Must be able to communicate effectively
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour
